Langley MP Mark Warawa will participate as part of the Platform party and to provide words of welcome to 50 new citizens.
Citizenship Judge Dane Minor will be presiding.
Invitations have been extended Rich Coleman, MLA and Jack Froese, Mayor of Langley Township.
Members of the RCMP and Canadian Forces will participate as part of the Platform party.
“I am thrilled to part of this Government of Canada initiative that encourages civic awareness amongst students – this is a firsthand opportunity to witness the induction of 50 new Canadians in a ceremony that brings home the philosophies of patriotism, community involvement, multiculturalism and what it truly means to be a Canadian,” says MP Mark Warawa.
