Mark Warawa retains his Government position as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of the Environment
Prime Minister Stephen Harper attended the Swearing-In ceremony of the new Parliamentary Secretaries of the 40th Parliament of Canada today. Langley MP Mark Warawa was re-appointed to his position as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of the Environment. The Prime Minister was very happy with Mark's commitment and work on the environment.

"I am deeply honoured to be able to continue working on the Environment, a file that is very important to all Canadians.  I have had the honour of working with two other Ministers and I now am looking forward to working with Minister Jim Prentice, a man I greatly respect."

"Our government's commitment to a cleaner environment will improve the health of our planet and the health of Canadians; for this generation and for future generations," Warawa says.

"As the father of five children and five grandchildren, I believe we have the responsibility to pass on a cleaner world, with cleaner air, cleaner water and cleaner land.  I look forward to working with Minister Prentice and all levels of government to make sure we continue to make progress on these critically important environmental issues."

"Most importantly, its an incredible honour to be able to walk into the House of Commons and be recognized as the Honourable Member from Langley" concluded Warawa.
