Duffy guest of honour at Conservative fundraiser
Aldergrove Star

Langley’s Conservative EDA President, John Burns, wants Langley to know that one of Chatelaine magazine's top ten sexiest men in Canada will be in Langley on Saturday, April 4 at 6 p.m. to speak at their annual fundraiser.

“We are so excited to have Senator Duffy coming out to attend our fundraiser,” says Burns. “Who would have thought the “Duffinator” and host of Mike Duffy…Live! would ever be in Langley? This is the can’t miss political event in Langley this year.”

Guests at the fundraiser, held at the elegant Langley Golf and Banquet Centre, are sure to be regaled with stories from the senator’s award-winning media career as host of Mike Duffy...Live! a show known to put Canada’s political players in the hot seat.

This is an event to be enjoyed by people on any side of the political playing field. “While politics can be serious even at the best of times, we’re hoping this event will show the lighter side of Canadian politics. We may be Conservatives but we can let our hair down too,” Burns jokes.

Member of Parliament Mark Warawa will also be in attendance. “I’ve been interviewed by Mike Duffy in Ottawa. I look forward to interviewing him in Langley. It will be a lot of fun,” said Warawa.

Tickets are $150 per person and a tax deductible receipt will be issued for a portion of the event. For further information or tickets call 604-539-5487 or email cpclangleyeda@telus.net
