Canada’s Environment Minister John Baird reduced his carbon footprint at this March 12 – 14 environment conference by traveling in a flexible fuel Impala powered by low CO2 cellulosic ethanol supplied by Iogen.

During the two day visit to Vancouver, Minister Baird was transported in the 2008 FFV fueled by Iogen’s cellulosic ethanol. Iogen is the only company in the world that can produce commercial quantities of cellulosic ethanol. The FFV Impala provided to the Minister is the newest model of vehicles also used in Iogen’s fleet, which has been running on the company’s own cellulosic E85 since 2004.
